Compare
Where we win, and where we plainly do not.
Every page here lists what the other tool does better, including where it costs less, because a comparison that only flatters us is one nobody believes. If one of them is the right answer for you, we would rather you find that out here than after a month of paying us.
One scenario, priced both ways
| Tool | Scenario | Us | Them |
|---|---|---|---|

| vs Ahrefs | One site, 50 keywords, weekly | $29/mo | $129/mo (Lite) |
| vs OpenSEO | One site, 50 keywords, weekly | $29/mo | $10/mo (Hosted) |

Head to head
Read the one that's actually about the tool you use today.
- vs SemrushA broad marketing platform with SEO at the centre of it.
- Choose Semrush when
- You need backlinks, advertising research, content briefs or white-label client portals. We don't have those.
- Choose us when
- You want keyword research, rank tracking, Search Console and audits for each client, run by your agent, without buying a suite to get agent access.
- vs AhrefsA leading backlink index, with an SEO suite around it.
- Choose Ahrefs when
- Link building is a real part of your work, or you need to size up domains you don't own. Their index is the product; ours doesn't compete with it.
- Choose us when
- You mostly research keywords, track positions and audit client sites, and you want your agent to do that from the Free plan up.
- vs OpenSEOOpen-source SEO tooling, hosted for $10 a month plus usage or self-hosted on your own data key.
- Choose OpenSEO when
- Price matters most, you want backlinks or AI-visibility tracking, or you want to self-host and read the code. Those are good reasons, and on price they win.
- Choose us when
- You want a free plan your agent can start on, rank tracking at a fixed price instead of per check, and research, tracking, Search Console and audits in one project per client.
